We are looking for an Accountant!

• Morning Shift (7 am to 4 pm)
• Php 75-90k/ Monthly (depending on experience)

DUTIES, ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Maintaining accounting records and preparing accounts and management information for small businesses (accountancy)
• Liaising with clients and providing financial information and advice
• Ensure client’s Compliance Obligations are met when preparing various returns for the ATO.
• Ensure client’s queries are answered within the service standard
• Prepare jobs within budget
• Ensure company policy and procedures are followed.
• Attends staff team meetings as required
• Good working knowledge of the firm’s services
• Undertake professional and personal development training
• Meet Billables Budget
• Work completed to client satisfaction
• Meet the company’s service standards
• Respond to client emails and phone calls within 24 hours
• Procure new clients through client referrals x 6 per annum
• Liaise with clients where required
• Liaise with ATO where required
• Liaise with XO team members in a respectful and considerate manner
• Liaise with client-referred parties such as banks, finance brokers, etc

SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

• Ability and understanding to apply income tax laws to specific tasks
• Ability to complete all tasks assigned
• Ability to work unsupervised and complete tasks assigned
• Ability to work through specific accounting and IT problems applicable to accounting programs
• Excellent English skills both verbal and written
• Knowledge of Australian Income tax law and ability to do company BAS / GST returns.
• Ability to prepare individual tax returns.

Requirements:

• Must have 5-8 years of experience in XERO and XPM accounting
•  CPA or equivalent program completed plus 5 years of work experience
•  Knowledge of Australian Income tax law and ability to do company BAS / GST returns.
•  Ability to prepare individual tax returns.
