Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Corporate Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in both real estate and commercial real estate accounting, with a strong focus on financial analysis and reporting.
Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Assist in budget preparation and forecasting activities.
Maintain financial records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Manage and reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts.
Prepare and submit tax returns, including corporate income tax returns and sales tax returns.
Prepare and analyze financial reports for management and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with other departments, including legal, operations, and human resources, to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Provide support during financial audits.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a must.
Must be Xero and Quickbooks certified.
3+ years of experience in corporate accounting, with a focus on real estate and commercial real estate accounting
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
